Tickets for the European Championship are available

Do you want to see with your own eyes the Olympic medallist from Rio Ondřej Synek and other aces of the Czech rowing fighting it out in the toughest competition? This year you have a chance because from May 26-28 there will be the 2017 European Rowing Championship in the Račice Labe Arena in the Czech Republic.

The winner of three olympic medals, Ondřej Synek, believes that because of the home atmosphere this European Championship will be extraordinary.“It would be great, if the championship in Račice would enter the history not only for the results but first of all because of the environment created by the appreciating public and happy fans,”said the four times singles world champion.“Any start in front of the home fans is like a holiday for me and European Championship is by itself a great challenge. I firmly believe, that there will be a huge gathering of fans in Račice who will create an extraordinary atmoshpere.”

Two of the most important sport events of this year are coming to the Czech Republic after a many years.“European Championship is the first senior championship is Račice since 1993. We ran many other important races for juniors and rowers under 23-years, and this time the public can see Ondřej Synek competing, and probably also the gold medal olympian from London Mirka Knapková, including several other olympians from Rio and our own hopefuls,”says Dušan Macháček, Chairman of the Czech Rowing Federation.“Furthermore, we are building a new infrastructure at the venue which will further enhance the overall level of racing. The rowing fans and their friends will be most satisfied.”

Tickets for the European Championship are already on sale and can be pre-ordered through Ticketstream. There is an option of a daily tickets or for the complete championship for the individuals or families. Pre-ordered tickets are cheaper than those bought at the gate.

The prices of tickets start at 75 and go up to 500 Czech crowns for a single daily ticket. Multiple days tickets run from 350 to 800 Czech crowns depending on the number of days. There are also a special packages for two adults with two children up to 15 years for the price of two adult tickets. Entry to the festive opening on Thursday is free.
